World Chocolate Day Activities for Toddlers
Practice counting with some chocolate chips. Make some tasty chocolate covered frozen banana pops together! Have a hot chocolate cloud dough sensory tray to explore.
Learn about where chocolate comes from! Explore the science of chocolate; watch it turn from a solid, to a liquid and back to a solid again. Do a taste test of different chocolates e.g., white, milk and dark and describe how they taste. Design a chocolate bar wrapper.
World Chocolate Day Activities for 8-11 year olds
Learn about the interesting history of chocolate and how it came to be such a big part of out lives. Investigate the different melting points of white, milk and dark chocolate. Plot the results on a graph and discuss the possible reasons for the different melting points. Make their own chocolate treat.
Design it; thinking about the shape and contents. Make it! Then design the all-important packaging. Finally produce a tv or print advert for it!
