What is the difference between a Project and an Activity?
Projects are designed to be undertaken over a longer period of time. They usually incorporate a cross curricular style of learning. Projects tend to have an outcome whether a physical creation, an event, or a learning presentation. Activities are one-off learning experiences that tend to focus on a singular topic or area of learning.
How long should a Project take?
Projects can take any length of time from a day to a few weeks. Let your child dictate the pace.
How long should an activity take?
Though they are designed to be less time intensive than projects, activities can take anywhere from a day to a few weeks as well. Let your child dictate the pace.
How does the monthly membership work?
Our monthly membership lasts one month and automatically recurs unless cancelled. Every month has its own resources. The monthly membership gives you access to the resources of that given month. If you sign up in the middle of a month, you will have access to that month’s given resources for the remainder of the month and access to the following month’s resources for its first 2 weeks. E.g. If your membership starts on December 20th, you can download December resources for 11 days and January resources for the following 19 days.
How does the yearly membership work?
Our yearly membership lasts one year and automatically recurs unless cancelled. It gives you access to all resources currently on the website for one year regardless of the month.
Why am I being sent back to the Sign-Up page when I try to download a resource?
If you are redirected to the signup page when you try to download a file then you do not currently have access to that file. Try logging in to your account or upgrading it to a paid monthly or yearly subscription. In the file descriptions it will say whether a resource is free or premium. Premium resources from previous or coming months can only be accessed by users with a yearly membership.
How do I find the free resources?
If you type “free” into the search bar, all of our free resources will show up as results.
How do the advent calendar resources work?
The advent calendar resources are free on their day of the month. After or before their day in December, they will need a monthly or yearly membership to access. After December, a yearly membership will be required to access them.
